Silhouette Giveaway... On LMM!

I hope your holiday weekend was as wonderful as mine... things were heaven around here. The husband was home for 3 whole days, we had lots of family and friends surrounding us. Christmas couldn't have been better, minus the lack of sleep, and a DEAD tree... The traditional BIG Christmas morning breakfast, running off to Grandma & Grandpa's to show off what Santa Brought, and LOTS of loves from the Aunties and Uncles.

Oh.... I also wanted to share a GINORMOUS giveaway with all of you!
It's from Silhouette...

Through one of my favorite blogs, LITTLE MISS MOMMA.
You can check it out HERE.
Don't forget to check out the rest of her BLOG, its wonderful, and very inspiring!

ENJOY!

DIY: When you don't have snow...

...You get CREATIVE. After visiting our local Christmas tree farm, we asked the guys there if we could have some of the left over rounds they cut off the trees. (They had quite a pile going) We brought them home and "cleaned" them up the best we could, and this is what we came up with...

It's pretty self explanatory. First glue the rounds together with hot glue. (after they dry, from the cleaning)

Then add some decorations. We chose NOT to do eyes, they looked kind of creepy... hahahaa.

Then VOILA! There you have it... THE MISTER & THE MISSES.

The Holidays

This year I had pictured the "perfect" Christmas... I wanted the perfect tree (magazine worthy) the perfect lights, the perfect decorations... well, that's not going to happen. I may not have a magazine worthy Christmas, but it's perfect for me. My kids LOVE the tree (a little too much), there's a new addition to the family, an adorable little puppy, (cute, but not potty trained yet, early mornings, lots of whining) who loves the tree too, still, he's super cute. We are busy doing a whole lot of NOTHING! The kids and I stayed in our jammies most of the day, HEAVEN! We are enjoying every moment we can. Lots of crafting, photographing, inventing, experimenting... and so on. That's a p-e-r-f-e-c-t holiday season for me.
