I do have some fun projects in the works. So please check back!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!
Today is a day of celebrating LOVE, Friendship, & Family... I think its just a wonderful day all around.
We started our day with a fun family breakfast, German Pancakes.
I thought I'd share the recipe.
Heat oven to 450*
1/2 c. Flour
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
{mix well}
While you're heating up your oven, put 4 TBSP butter in a pie pan, and let it melt {in oven}
Once melted, put batter into pie pan and cook for 15 minutes.
{for the HEART, I used Wilton's Food coloring gel, dip tooth pick in and draw}
The edges will raise up big and the center will be fluffy. Cut into slices, and serve with syrup or jam. {we like raspberry}
I hope you all enjoy your day!

Jars, and paint, and flowers... Oh My!
It's OFFICIAL!
HI!! I would like to introduce myself. My name is Melissa, I am a SAHM of 2, crafter, photographer "wanna-be", decorator, and a whole lot more! I have decided to start this blog to document my craftiness... we will see how it goes.
After lots offear of failure planning, here is my new blog! I am very excited to share my crafting, and this crazy thing I call everyday life.
SO... with that said lets get to CRAFTING!
I found these in a magazine, and it was LOVE at first sight. The price was another story. So, I thought I could make the perfect "knock-off". And I did!
First I had to find the PERFECT jars, so I headed out to my local antique shop.
I suggest running them through the DISHWASHER first.
My sister-in-law joined me, and we got to work.
We added 1 coat of primer...
Then let them dry over night.
Then we added 3 coats of porcelain color paint, that took another 2 days. I've discovered found if the paint has a chance to "cure" between each coat, then it sticks nicely to the jar. Otherwise, the minute you bump it...
Anyway, here is the end result! I am quite happy with it!
AND in honor of my blog being official, I would like to give away one of these lovely jars {designs vary} to one of my NEW readers, YAY! I'm slightly excited, can you tell?
So, just leave a comment, and someone will be chosen at random on February 18 at 8pm {pacific time}
